Paleo-Ridges



Direct observations of gabbro deformation within and near the paleo-ridge are complementary to the known deformation in the upper crust (i.e., pillow lava and sheeted dikes) and illustrate the structural evolution of the oceanic crust that takes place in a slow to intermediate spreading environment.
